The Hunt County Horseman Association is growing every year. We are an
Association that puts on a series of open shows that includes a year end
Futurity. This year’s Futurity was a great success and we are looking
for more stallions to promote the further growth of our Futurity.
Please consider our Association’s Futurity to place your stallion in; as
it will only increase your offspring’s value and allow your customers
another place to show your stallions foals. If you are interested in
donating a breeding for the 2007 breeding season (for the 2008 futurity)
please notify us by sending the attached page alone with a one page ad
if available, so that we can include him in the stallion book. All the
foals from the stallion sold are then eligible for the 2008 futurity.
Stallion owners can purchase the stallion breeding for 50% of the
breeding fee after the auction is over. If the breeding fee is less
than 300.00 the minimum repurchase price is $150.00
Stallions may be purchased at 50% of the original fee until April 1,
2007. At that time the fee will be 60% of the original fee. The
stallion will not be considered sold until the check has been received
by the Association.
The buyer and the seller will receive a confirmation letter and receipt
within 10 working days. After receiving this it will be the buyer’s
responsibility to contact the stallion owner to set up the breeding.
This is on a first come, first serve basis. The Association will only
sell one breeding per stallion. Any other breeding must be arranged
through the breeder and will be done at the full price of the stallion
